Nobody here is a swing coach. We mark hops. If a cluster will not sit, we change the object in your hands, not your biography.
Opened the room · 2019
Ingrid Halvorson
Grew up on a farm north of Harwood where the wind never clocks out. Spent winters marking hops at a rented stall near I-29 before Broadway N had heat that actually worked. She painted the wall tape and still calls hop height out loud so nobody can hide behind a monitor total.
Woods and irons
Boe Sivert
Boe keeps wheat language in the room because that is how he grew up measuring fields: in feet, not in feelings. He runs driver and iron ticks. If a 7-iron walks twelve feet on July bake, he will not call it “a little extra.” He will write 12′.
Wedges and gift walks
Tess Quam
Came down from a Grand Forks indoor winter bay that only measured carry. She got tired of watching wedges hop twice on freeze-thaw poa and still get sold as “spinny.” She owns the wedge check and the gift-walk desk.
Sunday and Monday the room is closed so the tape can be recut and the hop archive filed. If you email roll@rolloutlab.site on those days, Ingrid answers when she is back on Broadway, not at midnight.
